Mr. Yaotse is a trained and licensed teacher with over twenty-three years of teaching experience, sixteen of which have been spent in Cambridge curriculum schools. He holds a a Certificate ‘A’ from the Presbyterian Training College, Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Linguistics from the University of Ghana and is currently completing a Master of Arts degree in Guidance and Counselling at the Methodist University College, Ghana. His specialties are in English Language, English Literature, English General Paper, and Leadership. He has worked with generations of students to develop skills and competencies that have enabled them to succeed individually and excel in Cambridge exams at the Primary, IGCSE and Advanced levels. Prior to ISA, Mr. Yaotse served as an Upper Primary Coordinator and was for several years the Head of English Department at Alpha Beta Christian College. He was also a coach at the African Leadership Academy’s prestigious Global Scholars Programme in the summer of 2017 and has worked with teenagers to design and implement entrepreneurial ideas into student businesses. When he is not reading, he can be found playing scrabble or going for walks. He is married with three children.
